Pricing
RouteRTL is free to evaluate for 30 days. After that, an individual uses it free of charge after registering. An organization of any size needs a commercial licence: a named seat per engineer or a company-wide Enterprise licence.
Change from the earlier terms
This site used to say that the daily flow was free for commercial use. From release 5.1.0 that is no longer the case. Releases up to 5.0.x stay under the PolyForm Shield License 1.0.0, and a release you already obtained keeps the terms it was published with.
Evaluation
Free for 30 days
All features, including those that need a licence key, for anyone.
For use for a company, the 30 days run once for the company.

For your own benefit, not for the benefit of any organization. Covers the daily flow.
The agent verification loop and the evidence features need a seat.
Seat
CHF 1,200 per engineer per year
A named seat for one engineer in an organization.
Covers the daily flow, the agent verification loop (rr verify, rr loop), and all evidence features.
Enterprise
from CHF 15,000 per year
One licence for the whole company, priced by the number of active RTL engineers.
Covers the same features as a seat.

Buying a licence
To buy seats or an Enterprise licence, place an order or email support@routertl.dev. Ordering, payment, delivery and renewal are set out in the terms of sale.
There is no public discount. Instead, we offer a money-back guarantee, an early price lock, and places for up to 5 design partners. Ask by email for the terms.
Planned: extra-cost add-ons on top of a seat, for shared-bench orchestration and for project and agent orchestration. They have no price yet.
Registration
To register means to create an account with the licensor under a verified email address. Registration is free of charge. It is a condition of the RouteRTL Core License 1.0 for individual use after the evaluation.
Open-hardware projects
A hardware design whose sources are available to anyone now, free of charge, under an open license may use the daily flow free of charge, for that project only. Features that need a licence key still need a key.
Academic use
Accredited degree-granting institutions and non-profit public research institutes may use RouteRTL for teaching and published non-commercial research under the RouteRTL Academic License 1.0. It includes the features that need a licence key, and their outputs are marked. Research funded by a company is commercial use.
